Our datacenter is located in Kent – UK
Our primary site is a newly built facility based in Sittingbourne, Kent. From here we collect our IP transit from SynergyWorks, operating a fully BGP compliant network utilizing a ‘best path’ routing policy. Our network is provided courtesy of RackSRV Communications.
All web sites hosted at kznhost.com are guaranteed by a high-capacity redundant , stable power supply. Power is isolated between racks and maintained independently.
Datacentres use high specification UPS units to maintain power to the entire building if the main grid fail. Additional power generators can deal with both customer and plant load whilst recharging the UPS.
All data floors are maintained at a constant 21°C ± 2°C and relative humidity is kept at 50% ± 10% to ensure optimum performance. Both are continually monitored with the electronic building management system with also monitors and operates other sensors such as electrical, mechanical, fire detection and leak detection systems.
Fire Detection / Suppression
Kent Science Park makes use of Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA). These sensitive smoke detectors are linked to the building management system which is monitored continually from an operations center and provide very early warnings to help avoid fire and business disruption.
This is coupled with an FM200 gas based fire retardant that is environmentally friendly, to put out fires instantly, without damaging equipment.
